What do you like about being a funeral arranger?
Walking beside someone during what is undoubtedly one of the hardest times in their life, helping to ease the burden that comes with saying goodbye to loved ones.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Cooking has always been a passion and having lived in Australia, the USA and Europe, I have a mix of favourite cultural dishes in my repertoire. Listening to music and reading are the way I relax and wind down after the week that was. Weekends are spent with family and my pup, Penny.
What’s the most remarkable funeral you’ve ever arranged?
A funeral for a young man who was part of a fund-raising bikie organisation. Attended by his ‘brothers’ we took the hearse down to the local beach so he could hear the ocean one last time. Wind swept up the rose petals and scattered them… priceless.

Rest assured your loved one will be respectfully prepared and cared for by our staff during their stay at our facilities. For Essential Care, we’ll carry out the hygienic and dignified preparation of your loved one without cosmetic or dressing services. For Standard Care, we’ll take the time and care to prepare your loved ones for the funeral service. This can involve styling their hair, makeup and dressing them in their own clothes.
